Having just finished celebrating the universal festival of "stuff," I thought this link to "The Story of Stuff" I received via e-mail today was exceptionally timely.
I posted about this issue previously. It was also the plot of WALL*E.
Maybe it's time for all of us to say, "Enough with the stuff!"

I've really gotten better about stuff. I used to a bit of a horder (I inherited it from my mother) but moving across country and then three apartments in two years helps get rid of a lot of things. I'm sure if I had a bigger apartment Id accumulate more but as it is, we're overflowing.
ReplyDeleteI'm really bad about "stuff." But it definitely makes you think about buying something from Goodwill or off Craigslist rather than brand new. Saves money and is a form of recycling, too!
